Metal Structures Assemblers & Fitters are responsible for assembling, fitting, and installing steel structures and mechanical components for industrial, construction, shipbuilding, and manufacturing projects. Precision, technical knowledge, and attention to detail are essential to ensure every structure meets quality and safety standards.

Key Responsibilities

• Assemble and fit steel structures, frames, and metal components according to technical drawings.
• Read and interpret blueprints, fabrication drawings, and assembly instructions.
• Measure, align, and position components before final assembly.
• Use hand tools, power tools, and measuring equipment to complete fitting tasks.
• Prepare materials for welding and assist welding teams when required.
• Inspect assembled structures to ensure dimensional accuracy and quality.
• Perform minor modifications, grinding, drilling, and cutting as needed.
• Follow health, safety, and quality standards throughout all work activities.
• Work closely with welders, supervisors, and quality inspectors to complete projects on schedule.

Requirements

• Previous experience as a metal structures assembler, fitter, or steel construction worker.
• Ability to read and understand technical drawings and assembly documentation.
• Good knowledge of metal fabrication and assembly techniques.
• Experience using measuring instruments and workshop tools.
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality.
• Ability to work independently and as part of an international team.
• Basic English communication skills (depending on project requirements).
• Willingness to work on international projects and shift schedules when required.
